Bowland Festival Arts 2008 has now come to a close.

OPEN DOORS TO JAPAN 2001
As part of the national festival Japan 2001, Green Close Studios Ltd. was able to offer a range of Japanese events to the surrounding district alongside their own studio exhibition.
RAKU PROJECT 2007
Raku as a Japanese word means ease, contentment, joy, happiness. As a ceramic process it involves firing pots relatively quickly and removing them glowing red hot from the kiln, with tongs, whilst the glaze is molten and then smoking in saw dust, and dousing in water.
Tree dressing
Green Close Studios has successfully established Tree Dressing Day. The Lune Valley Tree Dreesing Event is held during the first weekend in December.
